Case Study Assessment

 YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED AND PASSED THE WRITTEN ASSESSMENT FIRST TO QUALIFY TO COMPLETE THE CASE STUDY ASSESSMENT

The case study assessment portion of the assessment deals with real life situations. During the certification assessment you will be asked to offer your solution to some typical hair color challenges. There will always be a number of possible solutions to any hair color challenge. The assessment was designed in this manner. The purpose was to determine what the candidate would do if they had a choice of solutions.
The candidate will be given 60 minutes to answer 5 case study scenarios.  A score of 40 or higher is passing. The 5 scenarios are randomly selected from a question bank of 13 case study possibilities.The study guide includes how the case study assessment score sheets are filled out. Samples are included to prepare you for the assessment.
The case study assessment is completed completely virtual and conducted through our third party virtual proctor testing service.  Once a purchase is completed you will be contacted by our third party testing service to schedule a date and time for assessment completion.
Once the case study assessment is completed the candidate will be notified in 2 weeks of their pass/fail status.  If the case study assessment is passed you will receive a "Level 2 Board Certified Haircolorist" digital badge that you can use on social media and advertising to consumers as well as a listing in the directory.
The candidate will have 6 months from the date of purchase to schedule and complete the assessment.  The are no refunds for failing to complete the assessment in the allotted time.
